- There was a step missing for up and coming artists wanting PR, their products (i.e. music) were not available anywhere
- Accessibility between an artist and radio stations/TV channels were virtually non-existent for independent artists/labels
- There is a huge disparity between the quota of local music being played on radio stations and aired on TV versus international music, and we wanted to play a role in changing the status quo by being an agent to feed local platforms with local/African content
